$85-115k (DOE) +10% bonus
WHAT WE NEED
We are looking for a Web Software Engineer to join our dynamic, fast-paced team in San Francisco to refine and innovate our eCommerce website. In this role, you would be joining as a key member of our technical staff, owning major parts of our web infrastructure and bringing features through our development pipeline.
Each day at client is different with new problems to solve and tasks to tackle, but here is an idea of some of the things you will work on:
– Coding on the front-lines to deliver new features from technical planning and estimation to production deployment
– Optimizing site infrastructure and performance
– Enhancing site conversion funnels
– Participating in code reviews
– Advising product managers on technical requirements and dev estimates
– Picking the right build tool, library, monitoring service, or operating system that allows the team to complete its objectives
– Contributing significantly to the larger technical vision of our company

QUALIFICATIONS
– Technical experience building websites and web apps
– Strong understanding of when and how to use bootstrap
– Fluency in HTML/CSS/Javascript
EXTRA CREDIT
– eCommerce experience
– Grasp of web/network security and service architecture and maintenance
– Proficiency with web servers and OOP
TECHNOLOGY
Operational stack: LAMP-based stack, using Magento has our eCommerce platform and ExpressionEngine as our content CMS
Frontend build: Grunt.js, Bower, HAML, CloudFlare CDN, Javascript (Angular.js, jQuery), SCSS, in development: single code base (mobile/tablet-responsive).
Workflow: JIRA, Github, CI on dev, and weekly rollouts
